Insomnia and the Music Therapy [Willow(32), Daniel(11), Alvaro(3), Leonardo Pereira(16)]

    Alternative therapies are increasingly popular in the world, and in our opnion, alterative therapies are exellent methods of treatment for problems such as insomnia. There are several types of therapies, music therapy is one of the examples.
    Music therapy is a therapeutic work with artistic techniques to the well-being, besides working hard breathing. Moreover, this treatment is very relaxing because of the echoing sound of the instruments that are harmonius for the ears of the practitioners.
    Another reason that supports our view is that music therapy aims to develop potentials and/or restore functions of the individual so that he or she achieves a better quality of life throught prevention, rehabilitation or treatment.
    To summarize, the music therapy is the use of music and/or its constituent elements, rhythm, melody and harmony, by a qualified music therapist with a clientor groups. its a process designed to facilitate and promote communication, relationship learning, mobilization, expression, organization and other relevant therapeutic objectives in order to meet the physical, emotional, mental, social and cognitives necessities.
